Some need to get inspired from an event or a personality, REACH – philanthropic non–profit organization in its nascent stage (conception 2007) – was born out of the personal struggle and difficulties faced by few of its initiators. It was the will to take charge of the existing situation and bring about a change that has acted as a motivation for the realization of REACH – to reach out to students in need and to help them financially to achieve academic prowess; ultimately empowering them to have a better future. It comprises of 15 youngsters sharing this dream. A stepping-stone to the realization of this dream was the formation of REACH. 

About REACH

Formed in Jan 2007, REACH aims to work for the benefit of the student body at the grass root level. Located and currently functioning in Kondayampalli, Tamilnadu, India – a hamlet comprising of farmers – REACH is funded by the aforementioned 15 youngsters who hail from nearby towns. They are employed in Government and Corporate firms in India and overseas. To maximize the available funding – they have chosen a meager lifestyle so that the future generations of students coming from similar economic and social backgrounds are able to see through elementary and professional education. REACH has been formally registered as a Charitable Trust on 6th December’ 07 under the (Reg. No.B4-D.N.144/2007) by the Govt. of India. Interested donors can forward their contributions to REACH and avail tax exemptions under the existing Tax Laws.

Your gift to The REACH helps to strengthen and expand our support of small grassroots organizations around the rural area’s in tamilnadu, that improve educational opportunities for children who would otherwise be left behind. REACH cannot accept restrictions for any gift under Rs100. Gifts over Rs.50,000 may be restricted geographically or thematically, but cannot be directed to a specific grantee partner.
